At Numata IC (NEXCO East Japan), due to the ramp line shape, it was difficult to visually confirm approaching vehicles right before merging, and personnel were previously required for visual checks upon departure. However, with the introduction of this device, the need for personnel has been eliminated, achieving labor savings.
